Natural or lab-grown
Both are real diamonds with the same hardness and sparkle. Lab-grown diamonds cost considerably less for the same size and quality; natural diamonds are rarer.
How to chooseGrading reports
Most diamonds are graded by GIA, IGI or another independent laboratory, and each listing names the lab and report number. Filter by lab under More filters.

Diamond questions
Are DANHOV diamonds natural or lab-grown?
Both. You can search natural and lab-grown diamonds side by side, white and fancy coloured, in every shape, and filter by origin. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds and cost considerably less than natural diamonds of the same size and quality.
Do the diamonds come with a grading report?
Most do, from GIA, IGI or another independent laboratory, and each listing shows the lab and report number. Stones without a report are labelled “No grading report”, and treated stones are marked “Treated”. You can filter by grading lab.
Can I see the diamond before I buy it?
Most diamonds have a 360° view on the page that you can turn, as well as a photo. For help choosing, book a private consultation by phone or video with a DANHOV specialist.
Can I set a loose diamond in a DANHOV ring?
Yes. Select “Set in a ring” on any diamond to choose a setting for it, or start with the setting in Build Your Ring. We set the diamond in our Los Angeles atelier.
Are the prices live?
Yes. Diamonds are bought and sold continuously, so the search shows today's stones and prices, and every diamond's availability and price are checked again at checkout.
Can I return a diamond?
Returns are accepted within 20 days of purchase. Restocking fees apply to diamonds: 25% for natural and 40% for lab-grown. Custom orders cannot be returned.
